Hi,

Beatunes calculates decimal BPM value.

1) Itunes 9.2 do not display the decimal of it -> is it possible to display it in itunes.

2) I'd like to rename the files with BPM in their names. Like TheRockBPM131.1.mp4

I've used MediaRage wich renamed the files only with the non decimal part of the BPM

Do you know a way to got a more precise action?

THIS BPM DECIMAL POINT ISSUE IS SOMETHING I HAVE TRYED TO GET ITUNES (MAC/APPLE) TO ADRESS FOR OVER 3 YEARS NOW. THERE IS NO REASON WHY THEY CANT WRITE POINT A "." IN THE BPM AREA TO THE APPLICATION. IF I WAS U I WOULD COMPLAIN TO THE MAC WEBSITE.... THATS WHAT I DID. THE MORE THAT SAY IT THE MORE LIKELY THEY WILL CHANGE IT!

The reason why iTunes does not offer decimals is probably that the id3 spec only defines integers.
    Regarding your questions:

    1. iTunes simply can't display decimals
    2. beaTunes does not have any such feature or any feature that allows the renaming of files. This is so, because most iTunes users allow iTunes to manage their library - which would include filename changes. And if beaTunes was changing the filenames, iTunes might lose track of them..

However, if you are into Java programming, beaTunes has an API that one could use to create such a thing: http://www.beatunes.com/beatunes-plugin-api.html I would not recommend it though (in the context of iTunes).
