I have created 2 playlists in beaTunes but when I open iTunes they are not there. What am I doing wrong?

Are you perhaps using a folder-based library?

    See http://blog.beatunes.com/2015/01/different-libraries-for-different-... for background info.

That prefix FileSystem: means that you are using a folder-based library.

You need to create an iTunes-based library, if you want beaTunes to read and write to iTunes. For this to work, you need to turn XML sharing in iTunes on (see this article).

Then create a new library in beaTunes and point it to your iTunes Library.xml file.
