Hello,
I was looking at the 'Inspection' section.
I wanted to check for tracks that have the incorrect 'Year' assigned in the ID3 information.
Perhaps I'm missing something, or maybe the function doesn't exits.
Typical situation is that the "year' tag had been set to the release of the album (especially when it's a compilation) rather then the release date (year) of the song.

Please advise if there is a way to have beaTunes show this type of discrepancy.

   I'm afraid, there's not inspection that covers this case.

   It would be very useful - when an album (especially compilation) has a different year to the date of the track, often the album year is in the tag data, rather than the track date.
