compilations and year field

Is there any way that beaTunes, during Analysis, look at individual songs and get the correct year, instead of the year that the compilation album came out? I have lots of "best of" albums of either one artist or various artists. When I run the Analysis for these albums, it looks like it picks up the year that the compilation came out, instead of when the song (singles) came out. Any advise?

    Hey David,

    I'm sorry, but at this point, beaTunes has no way of helping you to distinguish between original release date and release date of a compilation.
