I've had beaTunes for a while but now it's time to clean up my library so I'd like to remove duplicates. I've analyzed my entire library but when I look into Inspection tab it says there are no duplicates. I know there are a ton of duplicates. Is there a way to re-run Inspection so that it finds duplicates? Also, is there a way to look at duplicates only for a particular artist?

Did you compute fingerprints for all your tracks (one of the analysis tasks)? If not, that should help.

Also, is there a way to look at duplicates only for a particular artist?

    Unfortunately, not.

That did the trick, I analyzed the fingerprints, ran the inspection and it
came up with a bunch of duplicates. Thanks much for your help.
