I recently installed the .7, last time I installed the .5 and this happened then also. I can't remember how I fixed it, but it was fixed on the end of itunes I think. Anyway, I am so frustrated, because EVERY time I open iTunes now it displays the welcome screen. I've learned since last time not to go through the setup because it keeps making copies of songs, multiplying my already 4000 song library. So why does this happen when I install beaTunes? How can I fix it?? I am very very frustrated. I have so many playlists, and 4 devices synced with it, and I don't want to start over!!! This program has been so great, up until the last couple installations. I can't afford the risk of messing with my iTunes! If it's not an easy fix, I don't think I'll use this anymore.

oh by the way I have Windows Vista Ultimate, on a Sony Vaio, 32-bit I think, use an external hard drive, and McAfee (sometimes it can cause problems, who knows) Thanks for your help!

    Hi,

    This sounds truly frustrating.
Unfortunately, this really seems to o wrong on the iTunes side, not
the beaTunes side. Have you tried to contact Apple about this?
From the top of my head I unfortunately have no brilliant ideas and
have not heard of other people experiencing the same issue.

    Sorry,
