for your information, the library is on a SMB shared directory on my NAS. while I was trying to sync, I've started also a ping to the NAS, and I never missed a packet. but the App stopped the sync due to timeout, around 50% of the process.

Hey Andrea,
The timeout has nothing to do with the network connection. It seems that somehow a file is being written and read at the same time. Can you try to restart beaTunes and then sync via File -> Synchronization, before you do anything else?
Thanks,
-hendrik

yep, it seems if I restart and then sync before doing anything else, it works perfectly. If I do it keeping open the app, it doesn't work. But at least now I have a good workaround :) thanks man!

When you sync while beaTunes has been running for a while and it fails: Is some other beaTunes process running? Like analysis? How do you trigger sync? Manually or via "Window activation"?

no other beaTunes process running. I do analysis after sync. And I do sync always via file - Synchronisation

Hm. That should always work. :-/
