I installed the program on my Windows 11 desktop, started it and pointed the program to the top directory of my music folder, which is all MP3 (~22,500).
The tags were read and the songs showed on the screen.
I then had the program scan all the files and add BPM, color, etc. The program ran all night, much of the next day and seemed to complete without problem. I see the extended tags on the files I've randomly checked.
I shutdown the program by clicking File and then exit. The program reported it was shutting down and, after a few seconds, it closed.
I later started the program and was shown the same screens I saw on my first use and I was asked to provide the location and type of music library.
I looked at the directory where the library database should be and, though the directory structure was there, there was no database file in the database directory.
I then looked at the 12/18 backup of my computer and I don't find the tagtraum directory at appdata/local

Let's call it the Grinch effect. I did a database repair and then
rescanned all the files and everything is operating as expected. I can
continue with my trial and have fun with the playlist creation via
Matchlist.
Happy Holidays!
