Dear Hendrik

I hope this message finds you well.

I recently started embracing the Mood for songs to create playlists in beaTunes.

I was wondering how come some songs are unable to get a Mood assigned after analysis. For example, Hozier’s most recent album "Unreal Unearth" only has the Mood for three songs after multiple analysis attempts of the whole album.

Thanks for your help!

Cheers

    Hey Alexander,

in beaTunes 5 (and earlier), mood is not derived directly from the audio, but indirectly via tags. For some songs these tags are available, for others not. That's why you don't see them for every song.

    Kind regards,

    -hendrik

    Hi Hendrik

    Thanks for your reply.

Will there be a future version of beaTunes that assigns Mood based on audio analysis instead of available tags?

    Cheers
    Alexander

I'm hoping to get there, but won't make any promises.
