Songs in Apple Music are not being updated with new data provided by beaTunes.
I moved a song in the playlist within beaTunes and it resulted in hundreds of songs being removed from the playlist.

    Hey Tim,

sorry for the very late reply.

This sounds like two independent issues.

    • Songs in Apple Music are not being updated with new data provided by beaTunes.

What kind of data is this? BPM?
Also, is this music you own or music available to you via the Apple Music streaming service?

    • I moved a song in the playlist within beaTunes and it resulted in hundreds of songs being removed from the playlist.

I see in the logs that you have tried to manipulate fairly big playlist (499 items?). But I don't see an error. Is it possible that playlist re-ordering was still in progress? Did you quickly switch back and forth between beaTunes and Apple Music?

    Cheers,

    Yes BPM.

Doesn’t seem to matter. Tracks from Apple Music, Uploaded, or Matched with iTunes Match

I moved the track position of one song and beaTunes did the rest. Definitely was not still in progress. I don’t think I was switching back and forth.

    Hi,

Seems to me like beaTunes may not be correctly synced with Apple Music anymore.

Can you please go to File -> Synchronize in order to sync it again. If beaTunes asks, whether you want to force sync, please do (may take a while). If it does not ask, please do File -> Synchronize again, it should then ask.

Then please change a BPM value in beaTunes manually, e.g. via a slow click in a table cell or via the Command-I (Get Info) pane,

Is the change reflected in Apple Music?

If not, please upload a fresh set of logs via Help -> Upload Logs, so that I can take a look at what's going on.

    Cheers,

    -hendrik
