Hey John,
that's weird. Can you please send a screenshot of the message? Have you seen this problem with other versions of beaTunes under Windows 11 before?

Screenshot attached - What I forget to mention is I have installed Java as I don't think the official java was installed in the first place.

Hey John,
thanks for the screenshot.
Please launch the command line (via
cmd.exe
) and enterIf this succeeds, you should see a more detailed error message. What is shown?
If this leads to nothing, please try to launch beaTunes from the command line like this:
cmd.exe
into the Windows search boxc:\Program File\beaTunes5
, by typingcd "c:\Program File\beaTunes5"
.beaTunes5.exe
Does that produce any useful message in the command line window?
If not, please try the same again, but in step 3, please type:
beaTunes5.exe -Wlog.level=debug -Wlog.overwrite=true -Wlog.file.and.console=true
Hopefully this sheds some light on what's going wrong.

Hi, I thought I'd said previously I had fixed the problem myself.

Out of curiosity: How did you do it?

Hi,
I uninstalled the old version completely installed Java and deleted the Beatunes folder and when I went to install I changed the installation folder by one character if I'm remembering correctly.
