beaTunes-5-2-31-x64 Can't find my XML file

Hello Hendrik,

I am getting the message "Please turn XML sharing in the iTunes advanced preferences on. It is on and has always been on. this just started happening with this latest version. I also made sure that Beatunes runs with administrator privileges.

Do you have any suggestions?

    Have you changed anything in iTunes?
    In any case, can you please upload your logs from within the app (Help -> Upload Logs).

    By the way, no I have changed nothing in iTunes except for a few version updates. But, I have not changed any parameters since it was last working without problems. The only thing I did was update beaTunes.

    When I ran synchronize, I got another error message (see neerrmsg.png).

    I tried to duplicate the error and I uploaded tags again. Also here is a .png file showing the latest error (comerrs.png).

    Hey Grace,

    can you reproduce the problem, when you follow these steps?

    1. Restart computer
    2. Start beaTunes (not iTunes)
    3. (beaTunes should start iTunes)
    4. Work with beaTunes

    If you can still observe the issue, please re-install iTunes and try the procedure above again. Please use the version from Apple, not from the Microsoft Store.

    Hello again Hendrik,

    Yes, that worked! In the past I have always opened iTunes first. In the future I will try letting beaTunes open it. Anyway, I did not need to re-install iTunes. Anyway beaTunes seams to be working fine now.
