Although music will still play audibly through iTunes (and through iTunes via beaTunes), when I try to start iTunes itself, it appears on the task bar but permanently 'minimised'. I cannot get the interface to display. I have tried rebooting, uninstalling beaTunes, uninstalling iTunes and reinstalling them both and so on. Currently on iTunes 9.0.3 and beaTunes 2.1.3. Windows XP SP3.

Note, I did have beaTunes 1.2.7 installed, I had not used it for some time. I updated iTunes at various times when prompted to do so, and then the problem occurred after I used beaTunes for the first time for a long while. I tried upgrading beaTunes in the hope it would fix the issue but it has not.

    Hi Kate,

thanks for your message please start beaTunes, make sure the window is not full screen, i.e. make it a lot smaller. Now shut down beaTunes, shut down iTunes, restart beaTunes.

Does iTunes show up right below the beaTunes window?

If so, open the beaTunes preferences (Edit menu) and make sure you uncheck the 'minimize iTunes' checkbox.

    Hope this helps,
