Audio Normalization not updating Apple Music

I’m using beaTunes 5.2.24 and Audio Normalization has stopped updating Apple Music.

When I analyze a song in beaTunes, the Track Replay Gain field is updated but the volume field in Apple Music remains unchanged.

If I process the same mp3 file with iVolume, the Apple Music volume field is updated correctly.

When I run the beaTunes Synchronization again, the beaTunes Track Replay Gain field is updated with the value from Apple Music.

    Hey Tim,

in the beaTunes General Preferences, do you have embed non-Music fields turned on?

Please see https://www.beatunes.com/en/itunes-replay-gain.html for a step by step guide.

    Thanks,

    Hi Hendrik,

Well done! That was the problem. User error! ;-(

(I remember unchecking that box a little while ago. Not sure why, but I did.)

Sorry to have wasted your time, but thanks for the help.

    Tim

No worries. The UX is certainly not ideal here.
