.xml error, Com Exception - Synchronization aborted - Other errors.

Hello Hendrik,

Updated iTunes and Beatunes after a system upgrade. A lot has changed all at once here so not sure where to look first. I upgraded to an SSD and almost everything on my system is different. I am now running Windows v20H2, iTunes 12.11.3.17 (and I did set the advanced preference to share .XML files with applications. Beatunes throws the "iTunes Library .xml file not found. error. When I try to synchronize I get additional errors. (see attachments).

I am also including copies of the log files (zipped).

I am moving, so I won't get any time to work with this again until the 1st of next month. So there is no hurry.

   Hey Grace,

   This looks a lot like beaTunes is not able to communicate via COM.

   My suggestion would be to

   1. Restart your computer
      
   2. Start beaTunes first, it should then start iTunes automatically

   If this does not work,

   1. please re-install iTunes. Make sure you use the version downloaded directly from Apple, NOT from the MS Windows store.
      
   2. Restart your computer
      
   3. Again, please start beaTunes first
      
   4. If iTunes shows any dialogs, make sure to answer the

   Hi Hendrik,

   It has been quite a while since I had time to work on this. Anyway, I still have com issues. Now it is not communicating for synchronization an is throwing an error. ITunes setup sends me to apple update and I updated to 12.12.2. Does this colunt as a re-install? Should I uninstall and then re-install?

   I am including a snapshot of the error message.
