Creating New Libraries and Removing Old

Hi Hendrik ~
I am scanning 1M+ files. I suspect that's too much for Beatunes to handle.
So I am scanning the database folder by folder. The 1M tracks are in 30-ish folders.
Each folder becomes a new library in Beatunes.

But when I scan a new folder to make a new library, it often does not replace the old library.
Does the [-] button removes the metadata from Beatunes alone---or does that delete the actual file, too? I'm just looking for the best to create a workflow with multiple libraries one after the other.
Thanks!
David

    Hey David.

Yes 1M+ files ist most likely a bit much for beaTunes to stay responsive. If responsiveness does not matter to you, I’d be glad to assist in making a library of that size “kind of” work.

The [-] button deletes only the internal database files, not the audio files, so it’s safe to use.

    Cheers,
