I bought a new MacBook pro. Imported my iTunes library into the Apple Music app on new MacBook. BeaTunes 3 that I had did not work on new mac so I upgraded to version 5. It launched ok but would not sync with Apple Music. I tried to repair the database, did not work. I tried to rebuild the database and it seems to have erased it. I tried to synch again and still get the synchronization abort error message. Log and screenshot attached.

Hey Ricardo,
apparently beaTunes is presented faulty data and does not handle it gracefully.
I have made some changes in the latest dev snapshot to take care of it. Could you please download and install it from https://www.beatunes.com/download/beaTunes-5-2-21-SNAPSHOT.dmg Hopefully it fixes the issue.
Cheers,
-hendrik

Hi Hendrik,
This new version works and I now see the database and it is synching and inspecting. Do we know if it built the database anew or if it recovered my previous BeaTunes 3.x library? Does it matter?
Also, I see the appname has “-SNAPSHOT” in it.

That depends on whether you ever agreed to rebuilding in the process. It does not really matter, unless you had lots of info in the database that wasn't embedded in the files.
Yes. As I mentioned, this is a dev snapshot, i.e. not officially released yet. I just wanted to make sure you get going with this.
