I am using Beatunes 5.2.15 on OSX Catalina with Itunes that I downloaded separately from a developer as Apple decided to replace it with some junk called Music.

When trying to add a library, Beatunes only recognizes Music.app.
Why don't I have the option to add my Itunes Library as I was able to do it with older versions of Beatunes.

Please advise.

As you have discovered, iTunes is not supported on macOS 10.15 and later and the XML file that iTunes used to export is therefore usually not available. Also, beaTunes would not be able to make any changes to your iTunes library without iTunes actually running.

    Hi,

    I do have ITunes installed.
I use it all the time as I have 12000 tracks.

So there is no way to connect my iTunes.xml to Beatunes?

    Correct.

I'm sorry, but iTunes on macOS 10.15 is not supported by beaTunes.

That’s really too bad as this is the only way I want to use Beatunes. :(

    Can I get a refund?

Thank you very much. I appreciate it.
It’s too bad ITunes has been phased out.
Music is an inferior app for those who have a digital music collection.

    Thanks again
