Random Crashes, Java Errors, Database failures

Hello,

The last couple of days I've been running beatunes in trial to see if it fits my needs. I think it does, but I'm running into various issues that makes me wonder if the software is stable enough at the moment. SO far I've had multiple, random crashes, Errors on the heapsize of the JVM (1MB seems a bit small these days) and had to rebuild the database 2 times already, even while there are only 150 items in the folder I've set up for evaluation/testing purposes. This makes me hesitant about buying the software and loading my whole library (> 11.000 tracks and counting) in the software. Any pointers from your side for optimalization would be much appreciated.

Kind regards
Willem van der Marel

    Hey Willem,

for 150 tracks this seems very odd.
Could you please upload your logs (Help -> Upload Logs, from within beaTunes)?

    Thanks,

    -hendrik

    Thanks for the logs, Willem.

There are indeed a couple of issues. Can you please download and install the latest dev snapshot from https://www.beatunes.com/download/beaTunes-5-2-14-SNAPSHOT.dmg ?

Hopefully it addresses all issues you observed.

    Kind regards,

    -hendrik
