Can't delete playlist
Mac 10.15.5, Beatunes 5.2.9
There are a few playlists that show up in Beatunes (and DJay Pro2) that do NOT appear in Apple Music/iTunes. They seem stuck and I can NOT delete them in Beatunes. Even after restarting the apps and computer, they keep coming back.
Any way to force delete?

Hey Bill,
did they show up only after you've updates to macOS 10.15?
Do they perhaps contain podcasts or similar non-Music items?

Thanks for the quick reply Hendrik!
All of the above, actually!
A few of them don’t appear in iTunes (Music) at all. I only see them in Beatunes. One has podcasts, a couple others are empty of anything. Another one is a smart playlist (with “_” at the front of the playlist name, if that matters).

And yes, the lists were there before the update to latest OS.

Hey Bill,
it's an artifact of Apple's transition from iTunes to Music.app/Podcast.app/etc.
When Apple split up podcasts, music etc. into different apps, it apparently didn't know what to do with playlists that contain multiple kinds of media. That's what you see in these lists. I am frankly not entirely sure how to get rid of them.
Could you please synchronize, attempt to delete those lists again using beaTunes, and then upload your logs (in beaTunes:
Help
->Upload Logs
). Perhaps there are some clues in the logs, what to try. Thanks,

Thanks Hendrik,
I just sent them. (7:06AM EST)
I force synchronized, then deleted 3 playlists and 1 smart playlist that have been stuck. I also deleted a regular playlist for comparison.
I then forced synch again, and the 3 stuck playlists returned.
I hope this helps.

Hey Bill,
thanks for your logs. I took a look and it turns out that while the Apple ITLibrary API clearly says some playlists exist (e.g., "Playlist 2"), when asked to delete them via AppleScript, they are magically not there. Have you checked in your Podcast app whether they are perhaps there?

I did see one of them in Podcast, but no luck in getting it deleted still. It’s ok. Now there are only a few “stuck” lists, so its not a huge deal. Thank you for your help!!!!
Keep up the good work!
