Hi,
Is the content of these duplicates also identical or do they perhaps containing different media types? I.e. podcasts, movies, etc.?
Thanks,
-hendrik

Just to add some more information:
It may be that you see these duplicate playlist, because they contain different kinds of media, i.e. podcasts, video, etc. and music. That's why Music.app needed to split up one playlist into multiple ones for the different apps when you migrated to macOS 10.15.

Thanks for getting back to me. It is a little of both. Some smart playlists and folders containing smart playlists had different content (music/videos/podcasts)
But other duplicate smart playlists have the same music content.
There aren’t any duplicates of regular playlists so I’ll cross check the content in each and get rid of the smart playlists I don’t need. Thank you!

That's odd. If you have any idea what the reason for those may be, please let me know!
Sounds like a plan. You're very welcome!
