bpm not in track?

Hello!
I have a batch-list of recentliy imported tracks which I wanted to have the BPM calculated.

Beatunes does something (calculating colour etc) but the bpm is not being embedded (although its checkbox is ticked)
This happens since the 2 or so last updates of beatunes (I work with the newest version)

   how do you determine that the value is not embedded?
   Are the values shown in iTunes?

   Hello

   I found a workaround for my situation
   (
   BPM not being calculated althouhg all was set correctly and tracks were good

   beatunes 2.1.1
   itunes 9.0.2
   OS X 10.6.2
   on a MacBook Pro 2.33Ghz
   )

   I had to disconnect from the internet to make sure beatunes was doing the math and calculate the BPM...

   Hm.
   I don't use last fm, and the "use online thing" was ticked off but
   beatunes still and always wants to connect...

   beaTunes checks for latest version etc., but the actual analysis with "use online resources" ticked off, is completely offline.
