Synchronization Aborted
I have just added new tunes to my itunes and assume that each time I do so I need to synchronize with beatunes? However I have just tried and got the message 'Synchronization Aborted'?

Hey Dave,
is this on Windows 10? Which version of beaTunes? Did the error message provide any more information? Screenshot?
Thanks,
-hendrik

Yes W10 and the latest version of beatunes. The message given was literally 'Synchronization Aborted'

Hey Dave,
please attempt to sync again using the File -> Synchronize and if it fails, please upload your logs via Help -> Upload logs.
Thanks.

Hi
Same problem as Dave had recently. Just downloaded the newest version of Bea and got the error message synchronization aborted. Does not discuss with iTunes anymore. Windows 10, version 1903, build 18362.535.

Hi Päivi,
did you install iTunes from the Windows store or straight from Apple?
Oftentimes, re-installing the version from Apple (https://www.apple.com/itunes/), rebooting the computer afterwards and then starting beaTunes (which should start iTunes) solves the issue.
Cheers,

Well, that's good.
Can you please stop both beaTunes and iTunes, then start beaTunes and then initiate a synchronization via the
File
menu.If that still does not work, please re-install iTunes from Apple, restart your computer and again first start beaTunes and let beaTunes start iTunes. The reason I am suggesting this is, that apparently the communication via COM does not work. This is usually caused by a bad COM automation server installation, which is often fixed by running the Apple installer for iTunes and rebooting.
Hope this helps,
-hendrik
