Hendrik;

I rebuilt the database as you suggested after the program failed to repair the database. I then inspected it. I started working on Title issues and set up a couple of solutions and rsn them. they ran quickly, so I went further and had about 1,200 solutions pending. I started it off about 3 hours ago, and so far I've got nothing but the "beach ball" periodically and the program seems locked up. I don't have any indication of how far I am in applying the solutions. I tried quitting the application (Command - Q) and gt a message that solutions were being applied. Any insight into how much longer it might take or i need tp force quit and try again?

Thanks,
Chris

    Hey Chris,

    if you are using an iTunes-based library, beaTunes tells iTunes via AppleScript to make the changes. Often this involves changing the tags in a file. If the file is on a slow medium (worst case: slow network drive), this will take substantial time.

    You might simply want to launch the Console app and take a look at the beaTunes.log file. If you still see new AppleScripts calls in there, beaTunes is definitely still busy...
