Beatunes 2.1 crashes on startup

hi
I'm running OS X 10.6.2, with latest Java update. Just after the 'syncing with itunes database' dialog finishes beatunes crashes. After that it crashes repeatedly on startup. I've tried deleting the database and reinstalling. Logs are attached. there is a fileIO permissions error then a bunch of JDBC errors

    Hi Rob,

    thanks for your email. There is indeed a problem with permissions.

    Please do the following to fix the issue:

    - remove beaTunes from your system
    - log in as administrator (or with admin rights)
    - start beaTunes as that same users once
    - shut it down again and try to start it from your unprivileged account

    Does this solve the problem?
