Intel only? That can't be true.
So, I purchased beatunes not long ago, and now it's obsolete. I have a PowerMac G5 Quad as my main Mac. As of version 2.1, beatunes requires Snow Leopard and Intel.
That makes me very unhappy.

Hi,
I understand you're unhappy about this. If it's any consolation - it's not obsolete - you just can't update.
The reason is that Apple decided to not support it PPC for Java 6 - a technology that is now multiple years old.
