What exactly does this crash look like? Sudden restart? Frozen screen? ...

Can you please upload your log files (see beaTunes' Help menu)?

    Thanks.

The laptop shuts down, no warning. I'll upload the error files shortly.

I do have another question. Is there any way to add cue points? Mixed in Key has a feature that adds 8 cue points. I was wondering if Beatunes had some variant of this.

I'm sorry, but there is no support for cue points.

I have looked at your logs, but unfortunately they were created too long after the crash occurred and therefore don't contain any information about the crash.

Should this happen again, please upload your logs right after the crash occurred. Perhaps that gives me some useful information.

    Thank you!

Okay, I’ll upload them again after it crashes. I did notice that it happens less when I set the Razer’s power settings to “Gaming”. Question , If you stop analyzing in a middle of a session, does Beatunes start the session over or does it skip the files it’s touched and continue?

    Thanks

    It restarts where it stopped.

I think it’s a great feature having the ability to exclude genre’s in the analysis process. Will you be expanding this functionality where as you can analyze only certain genre’s ? My reason for asking this is it seems there hundreds of Genre’s in my 500GB collection and takes me a long time to exclude them.

You can always filter the main table view by genre, select all, and start analysis for the selected songs.

    Thanks Hendrik,

I do have some other questions.

I’ve recently replaced my existing 512GB ssd with a 1TB ssd. I did this so I would not have to carry an external drive with me ,all the time. I now have a dilemma. I’ve done a lot of processing with Beatunes and do not want to lose the changes I made. SO, I’m not sure how to approach adding the music files to a new volume without losing Beatunes metadata. I was thinking about simply dumping the files onto the iTunes pane with consolidate selected, but I just wanted to be sure this function doesn’t overwrite what I’ve done so far.

    Thanks
