Team,

My files aren't giving me BPM since last download. The app is dead for me. I've researched the workaround below. I'm a dumb computer user. How do I access the "Beatunes installation directory" or how do I find the exact download link to downgrade to 5.1.12. The link below just downloads recent version. I need to do one or the other. Please help.

Workaround: You can work around this issue either by downgrading back to 5.1.12 (https://www.beatunes.com/download/beaTunes-5-1-13-x64.exe) or by disabling the FFmpeg-based decoder. Disabling the decoder can be achieved by renaming or deleting the corresponding DLL in the beaTunes installation directory (a .dll file containing the string ffsampled in its name).

Does beaTunes give you an error message? And if so, what error message?

The exact message referenced in that original ticket about unable to decode
etc. It is the issue with the APE file type that changed from 1.12 to 1.13.

    Ok.
    That's exactly it.

The easiest way to get this to work again is to:
