Replacing metadata not working

Using the beaTunes 5.1 free trial with iTunes on Windows, I'm trying to replace a couple fields (genre and year) in the analysis. I can see in Get Info that beaTunes does have genre and year information, but the fields are not updating. Is there a trick to this I am missing? Or is it part of the free trial limitation?

    It seems this was due to the "identify 10 songs" limitation of the trial. It would be nice to have this better explained in the FAQ. I'm still not clear on whether this applies only to the metadata, or also to other "use online data" options. I know that last.fm data and local analysis is not limited by this.

    Yes, that was probably the cause.

    I'm still not clear on whether this applies only to the metadata, or also to other "use online data" options.

    It applies only to the "import metadata" task.
