Initial synchronizing with itunes

Hello,

I had to reinstall all my software recently. When I launched beaTunes it asked me if I wanted to sync with itunes, I said yes, a progess box came up, the main window had a message across the bottom "Synchronizing with music library" but nothing is happening.

I checked the task manager - < 0.1% cpu
I left it running overnight - still no progress.

Can you help?

   Hey Peter,

   if iTunes shows an open dialog, please close that dialog. Perhaps that unblocks beaTunes. If not just hit Cancel, try again and of that does not work, upload your logs using Help -> Upload logs from within the beaTunes application.

   Hello Hendrik – thanks for getting back to me.

    

   Unfortunately, it goes straight into the synchronize process when I start the program, this dialog box isn’t responsive to the cancel button and so I cannot get to the Help Screen to upload the log.

   Hey Peter,

   somehow I received your logs. Anyhow. Please stop beaTunes (if it is running somehow), download the latest dev snapshot from https://www.beatunes.com/download/beaTunes-5-1-10-SNAPSHOT-x64.exe , install it and run it.

   It should start a database recovery process and make beaTunes usable again. Please let me know how it goes.
