    Hey,

If you cannot see any playlists at all, perhaps your turned off the sidebar. To turn it back on, please use the menu View -> Show Sidebar.

If you're just unable to see your iTunes playlists, perhaps you have chosen to use a folder-based library? You can check in the beaTunes general preferences. For more details, please see https://blog.beatunes.com/2015/01/different-libraries-for-different...

If this does not help, please send your logs. You can do so via the beaTunes' Help menu. Just choose Upload Logs.

    Thanks!

    Hi Hendrik,

Thanks for your quick answer. I have my music files in an external drive (folder based library). There must be something wrong with the Library.xml, and I have quite big library. I read the article you sent , what do you suggest to do first ?.

iTunes playlists are only shown in beaTunes for iTunes-based libraries.

what do you suggest to do first ?.

Create an iTunes-based collection in beaTunes.

Where the audio files are located does not matter. If you are using iTunes on Windows or older version of macOS, you just need to locate the Library.xml file. Typically that is not on the external disk.

    1. How many tracks do you have?
    2. What does beaTunes' About dialog look like (screenshot)?
    3. Which operation is slow? Please be specific.
    4. Do you have "Synchronize on window activation" in the general preferences turned on or off? (if your collection is truly large, you probably want to turn it off and synchronize manually via File -> Synchronize)

    1.- I have around 19000 songs
    2.- sending screenshot attached
3.- The synchronisation is very slow and everytime I want to listen a playlist get stucked the sound
4.- I do the synchronisation manually but I understand take the entire library?

    sending screenshot attached

Please send a screenshot of the About window. That's the one you see when you click on the application menu (beaTunes5) and then About beaTunes5.

Can you also please upload your logs? You can do so from within the app via Help -> Upload Logs.

    Thank you.

    Thanks for the screenshot.

The logs didn't arrive for some reason. In beaTunes, did you open the Help menu and then select Upload Logs from that menu?

    Thanks.

    Thank you.

May I ask what kind of hardware you are using (model, CPU, disk, ...)? I'm wondering, because you still run OS X 10.11.

You might want to try to run Tools -> Repair Database. Perhaps that speeds things up a little.

    Cheers
