BPM count wrong
Hi
I have recently notice that some of my newer songs are counted wrong. Some very wrong, some just a bit. It's a huge problem if I can't trust the bpm count the system gives me. Earlier this happened only when song tempo changed in the song (easy to understand that the bpm count is not changing). Am I doing something wrong? Sometimes I push the manual calculate button to try to verify the count or the arrow before to change the order of bpm shown.
Mood is another field that is almost always empty. What affects on this field not to show?
Thanks.

Hey Päivi,
not BPM analysis algorithm is perfect—you may get wrong results every now and then. To increase your chances, I recommend to turn Use online resource off when analyzing. Then you can be sure that beaTunes analyzes the files locally and does not just download a value from the central database.
Mood is based either on LastFM tags or on data from AcousticBrainz. If neither is available, beaTunes cannot derive a mood.
Cheers,

Thanks H. I think that was it. I may have added that cross after reinstallation. Now I unchecked it.

I used the program once in my itunes library. Mac os 11.2.2. About 5500 songs. About 50 were not given a value. I understand about half of that as the beats were inconsistent in those songs. BUT, many, many songs were given double or triple values for bpm. I am having to go thru a couple hundred songs that are over 140 bpm to verify.
