Plugins dont work

I have vista home premium 64bit windows
I followed intructions on how to install I placed the plugin folders into beatunes plugins and restarted beitunes It work with version 2.0.16 . I mistakenly loaded the newest update with out unestalling the old one first. I have unestalled and reinstalled and retried placeing plugins into folder. Also does beatune imbed key to itunes I thought it went to composer. Is there anyway to include deleting orphaned files and key to comment, group into api thanks

   Hm - plugins should work with 2.0.17. Can you please send me your logs?
   They should be in c:\Documents and Settings\[username]\.beaTunes\.logs - please zip the whole folder before sending.

   At the end of your first email you make two statements that I'm not sure how to interpret:

   "Also does beatune imbed key to itunes I thought it went to composer"

   Keys are simply not sent to iTunes.

   "Is there anyway to include deleting orphaned files and key to comment, group into api thanks"

   I'm simply not sure what exactly you are asking for.

   Today I reformated my computer and installed beatunes beaTunes-2-0-17-jre-win.exe and itunes 9 Next I followed the instructions How to install a plugin. I Placed
   the following plugins deleteorphans-1.0.0 keytocomment-1.0.2 keytogrouping-1.0.2 lastfmtopthreetags-1.0.0 into c:\Users[username].beaTunes\plugins still none of them

   work They worked perfectly last month on the the first install. I dont understand. Is there anyway to include in future realease's the ability to delete orphaned files and

   tagg to comments, Grouping without having to install plugins .
   I included the logfiles and also a copy of my beatunes folder that has all of the plugins installed Thanks

   Hi,

   it looks like you unzipped the plugin jars before you placed them in the plugins folder. That won't work.

   I'm not sure how it happened, but you need to place the files called xxxxxx.jar into folder and not unpack them.

   Perhaps your browser is somehow configured to automatically open jars. If that is so, try to right-click on the link and save as.
