BPM detection to 3 decimal places
With BEA Tunes version 3.0, manual bpm detect no longer goes out t 3 decimal places as it did with version 2.0. Can this be reinstated. Or maybe an option to be set in preferences to either 2 or 3 decimal places?
Also, larger discussion, as iTunes does not recognize decimal points but DJ programs that utilize bpms with decimal point values. I now need to store my bpm value multiplied by 100. Example bpm of 100.45 now becomes 10045. For BEA Tunes, do you see value in adding 2 buttons on the bpm screen to multiply and divide by 100?
Please let me know your thoughts.
Thanks!

Hi David,
the precision is actually still the same - it's just that the 2nd and 3rd decimal is not displayed anymore, because it does not make sense. No-one is really capable clicking precisely enough to justify those decimals. That's why they are cut off after the first decimal.
Internally, the full float is stored, i.e. all decimals - usually more than 3.
I understand your desire to multiply by 100, but don't think this is a feature most beaTunes users need. This sounds like something that could be solved by a plugin perhaps. See http://www.beatunes.com/beatunes-plugin-api.html for details.
Thanks,
