Editing Info | Mismatch in file ID3 tags details file selected but Album art and mp3 music different song

Hi!

The following has happened to me while editing mp3 songs from my itunes library.

I open the Edit | Summary aspect of your program and advance from song to song using the next and previous buttons in the bottom left.

Every now and then I get the meta data for the ID3 tag in the upper third of this screen for one song/artist/etc, however the album art, physical media location in the WHERE section and song playing is something else. I have attached a screen shot.

If i play the song in the Edit Info screen, it's not the correct song. However when I right click on the file name and listen through iTunes or QuickTime the correct song plays.

I've tried resync'ing, exit beaTunes and iTunes, and even rebooted computer but nothing seems to resync the ID3 meta data to the song

I've encountered this issue for the past 5-6 releases since I've purchased your program, so I thought I'd bring this issue to you attention.

Hopefully this is something that can be fixed in a future release.

if you experienced a crash or other abnormal behavior, you might want to attach log files from /Users/dmuzii/Library/Logs/beaTunes

   thanks for your message. Can you please reproduce the problem, shut down beaTunes and send me your logs? http://help.beatunes.com/kb/troubleshooting/where-are-the-beatunes-... tells you where to find them and how to send them.

   I was unable to reproduce the issue this morning with the same song. But I am attaching log anyway.

   I'm sure it will occur again. I just need to reproduce and it may take some time. I wish I could reproduce on demand.

   I think you may start to see this around 22:22:00 for 24-Feb-2011. I just searched for "Stone Love". The file name is in the format like RuthieFote_StoneLove.MP3"

   Sorry for the late replay and thanks for the log. Unfortunately this one does not contain anything useful, which is why I always ask for the whole log folder to be zipped (the logs compress really well) and sent. Could you please do that?

   thank you for the logs. Unfortunately they also didn't contain an error message that really helped me. I will continue to look into this, but it will likely not be solved quickly.

   Unfortunately there was no error message that appeared on the screen either.

   Maybe I am advancing too quickly using the forward and back buttons inside the edit info screens and the previous song doesn't properly get cleared for the next one. I am trying to analyze my actions to provide you with more information.

   No worries on the timescale. Just wanted you to be in the know.

   Also, another issue I have noticed, while using rayshoot to calculate bpm I see that the bpm can be off by 1-2 beats as opposed you manual count using the Beatunes beat pad counter. Can you provide any thought on this?
