Java won't let Beatunes open

I'm pretty sure I purchased the full version of BeaTunes2 and it won't open because it says my Java Script isn't compatible?? I updated to most current Java. I'm running Mac 0S 10.5.8 on an Intel Mac Book Pro. Please help I need this to work.

    Hi Adam,

    beaTunes 2.1 requires Java 6, which is only available from Apple for older 32 bit Intel processors running 10.6 or newer 64 bit Intel processors running 10.5 or 10.6.

    You might want to try 2.0.19 from http://www.beatunes.com/beatunes-download-old.html
