I ran beatunes to determine bpm and key. The next time I connected my ipod to my computer, it resynced all the songs, in otherwords overwrote my entire ipod with the existing itunes library. is this going to happen every time i run beatunes. It takes a long time to copy 9,000 songs to my ipod, and i really do not want to have to go through this everytime i plug my ipod in.

In addition to resyncing my entire library, it keeps stalling on the resync and will not complete..I then tried to restore my ipod and it stalls at 385 songs out of 9000.

    Hi,

By analyzing those files the files get changed. This triggers the sync, as that is what syncing is all about.
Regarding the stalling - that should certainly not happen, but is not necessarily caused by beaTunes.

    Hope this helps,

David, just a curiosity: Do you have iTunes set to resample all music sent to your iPod as 128 kbps AAC files? If you do, this can take a LOOOOONG time. :)
