Upgraded from beaTunes 2.1.13 to 2.1.14 on Windows 7. Running Java 1.6.0_20. Afterwards uninstalled 2.1.13 since beaTunes was still defaulting to starting this older version.

Now, after identifying new iTunes content and attempting to upload it to the beaTunes server for analysis, I'm receiving an error message. "Failed to Use On-line Resources: java.net.Socket Timeout Exception Read Timed Out."

Any suggestions ?

    Hi,

the installer for beaTunes 2.1.x does not automatically uninstall the old version when installing the new version. Most likely you have both versions installed now - I recommend to uninstall the older one. During the uninstall process you will be asked, whether you'd like to remove color etc. Do not remove it.

Regarding the Timeout, please simply try again. If it still does not work, uncheck the "use online resources" flag in all analysis tasks.

    Hope this helps,
