PUID shifting, apparently impossible to correct afterwards

Hello,

when changing the name or the artist of a file using the "Get Info" dialog, two things happen:

1- In iTunes (using 10.0.1.22 on Windows), the track becomes part of an "Unknown Album". Restarting iTunes solves the isse.

2- However, in beaTunes, after changing the track info and clicking "Next", the same info as for the former track is displayed for the current track. Track info seems to "shift" and the PUIDs in beaTunes are now shifted, apparently beyond repair.

The attached images show the behavior. I purchased "Chill in Paradise 6", and for some unknown reason, most of the files are tagged as "(Original)", even when this is not part of the actual song name. So I used beaTunes to check for this.
The first name I corrected (and got behavior as explained in point 1) was track 6, from "Fluffy Sky (Original)" to "Fluffy Sky".
I closed both applications and tried to continue the corrections with the next file.
As you can see, "Elegantish Elephantish (Original)" is now being suggested to be "Fluffy Sky", again. The same error happens to the Artist field.
Re-synchronizing does not fix the issue. Re-analyzing the files with any of the possible options for MusicIP does not fix the problem. There appears to be no way at all to get a correct PUID back for the affected files. Or is there a way to delete the field, and have beaTunes looking it up again?
