Pop music color

In my collection,
Red is soft, relaxing, lullaby style music.
Blue is fast guitar style rock and metal

Pop music for some reason seems to be getting split 50/50 between red and blue. The sound between the red pop and blue pop music is close enough that they should be the same color maybe a purple.

What determines song color?

    Hi,

song color is based in a frequency analysis. I.e. if a certain frequency is more dominant than another, a song gets a different color. As I think you've understood, colors are specific to a collection.

    Hope this helps,
