Hi,
how did you download the PUIDs?
And you did not find any duplicates in the inspection?

a screenshot of the duplicates in iTunes and the inspection result
maybe it has to do with the maximum value of an integer?

Hi Bernhard,
do you have the duplicate inspection enabled in the beaTunes preferences?
If it is, could you please send me your logs? (see http://help.beatunes.com/faqs/troubleshooting/where-are-the-beatune...)
Thanks,
-hendrik

ThanX Hendrik
Enclosed the zipped log directory
Support Staff 6 Posted by hendrik on 23 Aug, 2010 08:33 AM
Does that mean you you checked and the duplicate inspection is actually enabled in the preferences?

Hi Bernhard,
please try the following:
Do you now see the duplicates?
If not, can you please shut down beaTunes before doing anything else and send me fresh logs?
Thanks!

Hi,
could you please go to the beaTunes preferences and click on the "Clear Ignored Issues" button and try again?
If that does not help, the only thing left to reproduce the problem would be for you to send me your database file (
C:\Users\Bernhard Lauber\AppData\Local\tagtraum industries\beaTunes\database\beaTunes-1E9FD91D35C4B545.data.db
) and theC:\Users\Bernhard Lauber\Music\iTunes\iTunes Music Library.xml
file. Please zip both files as they are big and make sure beaTunes is shut down before you zip the database file. Thanks,
-hendrik

Already done many times before

Hi Bernhard,
my apologies, I should have seen this earlier...
The Duplicates inspection ignores disabled songs. This is on purpose, since one of the ways to "fix" duplicates is to disable them. Currently, to find duplicates, they need to be enabled (that little checkbox in front of the title).
Hope this helps,
-hendrik
