Syncing Issues

BeaTunes WAS pretty good and did most of what i expected. However, the app doesn't recognize anything in my library past July 19, 2010. I am a DJ for an electronic club and I've been using beaTunes as a simpler way to analyze bpm's and keys of songs. I buy and download probably 15-30 songs a day. So, I'd like to be able to analyze my newly added songs. Well, I can't. The App is no recognizing them... I'm pretty frustrated. Hopefully someone will be able to help. When I click "sync with iTunes" the progress bar shows up and disappears about 3/4 the way complete. It's like beaTunes is trying to sync but stops short of something useful.

I use a MacBook with OS 10.6.4. 2GB ram. 200GB hard drive.
my iTunes library has roughly 19,000 songs. (i have not asked to program to analyze my entire library for a feel it will take a couple days...)

any help will be appreciated.

David.

**** the library doesn't recognize anything later than July 19th 2010. Meaning, the songs i've bought since then. I may have worded this wrong in my previous post.

I've tried to restart beaTunes. I've also added songs to my library to see if they would show up and they don't...

    Hi David,

the original response you received was an automated response..

Which version of beaTunes are you using?
Can you please send me your logs (see http://help.beatunes.com/faqs/troubleshooting/where-are-the-beatune...)?

    Thanks,

    Hi David,

it looks like your database in /Users/dat9180/Library/Application Support/beaTunes/Database/ got corrupted somehow.
You could simply delete that folder to fix the issue (also see http://help.beatunes.com/faqs/troubleshooting/beatunes-does-not-sta...), but it would have the side effect of loosing all data stored internally in beaTunes.

Wow. Everything is working great now. The help was awesome and very fast. Thanks so much hendrik.

As for beaTunes, I admit, during the frustration of this issue I ran into, I looked around for other software that could do the same thing as beaTunes so i could just buy new software and not worry about fixing something. Anyway, I found beaTunes to be much cheaper than any other bpm/key finder software and also to be the only software (that i found, there may be others out there) that imported data into iTunes such as BPM. The issue was a quick fix and the response/instructions i received from support was much better than I expected.

    Thanks and well done beaTunes.
