java.net.connectException: connection refused
Hello People,
I get this message (see subject) when I try to analyse songs. Just switched to 2.1.11 and it worked fine but since two days now... no connections. Please advise!
BEA: 2.1.11
Itunes 9.2.1 (4)
Kind regards

I've been getting the exact same thing (for the past 3 days) after upgrading to 2.1.11. Same specs as Menno.

Hi,
I'm in the process of updating the server/database and unfortunately it's not going as planned. See http://blog.beatunes.com/
I hope the thing is working properly again on Monday. Until then you can avoid the message by disabling "Online Resources" in the analysis options.
Thanks for your patience,
-hendrik

Bad news then as I've just upgraded to 2.1.17 and it seems that the problem is back

This has nothing to do with the 2.1.17 update but with http://blog.beatunes.com/2011/01/online-resources-down.html

I hope to have the server back online later today.

Quite annoying that I have just purchased this software purely to get the bpm in my itunes library. The original trial version worked but having installed the latest version and bought the licence I now can't analyse songs and get an error failed to use on line resources (even if online resources are not enabled) Seems quite a waste of money wonder how I obtain a refund?

The server is back up, so online resources should work again.
Note that you need to uncheck "use online resources" in all analysis tasks for beaTunes to not connect the server.
