Apple Silicon version
Hello,
Do you have any plans of upgrading your App so that it doesn't need Rosetta to run on Apple Silicon hardware? It's now been five years since the first Apple Silicon Mac have been released. From what I understand your software is mostly Java, which exists for Apple Silicon, so I guess it should be possible to migrate to Apple Silicon without a big impact on your development, but of course I don't know your code and your build process.
However your app takes a very long time to start on Apple Silicon, I know that Java isn't helping with that, but I'm pretty sure it could be faster with an Apple Silicon JRE. What is more, Rosetta won't be there in the long run, and I'm pretty sure Apple will want to remove it from macOS in a few versions.
Nevertheless, I really like your app and it's helping me a lot for managing my Music Library, so I would like to keep using it.
Thanks for your help,
Best regards,

Hey Pascal,
I'm working on it and it will come, but I can't say when. Hopefully soon.
Sorry, I can't be more specific.

Hi all,
Just received a notification that support for Rosetta will be terminated by Apple. Depending on Beatunes for the discovery and selection for my DJ sets - and would love to continue doing so. Don't mind a new payed version as long as I'm able to use this amazing piece of software.

I'm posting about early access versions on https://blog.beatunes.com/
Note that the EA2 does not start, when using dark mode (will be fixed in EA3).
