when using the matching songs panel to build a play list, I would like to have the option to limit results to a certain maximum number of items, say 10 for example. I can approximate that now by adjusting the match quality slider on the rule set but I don't like to have to do this often.

Thanks

That feature is already available. When you select a song, and then select New Matchlist, in the dialog box that pops up toward the bottom is an option to "Limit to x songs". You can select "x" before you press OK. You also have the option to select x hours, minutes, GB or MB. You don't have to mess with the slider to get the result you want.

The matching song panel is a table with a scrollbar. Why do you care how many items are in it? Can't you simply ignore extra items you are not interested in?

I want to be able to limit the results in each case to 5 or 10 items and to sort them by another factor, like frequency of play or how recent so I can choose based on that factor while the chosen item will still be close to the song I'm matching. Hopes that makes sense.

    Of course! Much appreciated!

OK. With sorting that makes much more sense to me.

    Thanks for the suggestion.
