Turn off automatic notifications
It would be great if there was a way to turn off automatic notifications:
New Version of BeaTunes
Additions to the Library (Inspect)
Additions to the Library (Analyze)
I like to do my updates periodically and don’t want the reminders always on the screen.

Hi,
beaTunes is only aware of newly added tracks right after a synchronization. That's when it scans your library and computes the difference. If you don't synchronize for a while it will also notify you.
Depending on whether you manipulate things a lot outside of beaTunes, I would recommend turning automatic synchronization on window activation off (general preferences) and manually sync every now and then (File -> Synchronize). This effectively turns the "annoying" popups off, i.e. they only appear after you have manually initiated a synchronization. Manually synchronizing also makes beaTunes overall more responsive, as the system does not try to sync on every window switch. But again - how well that works for you depends on how you use beaTunes and other apps.
Hope this helps,
