it seems that the mood analyzes automatically translates the existing language to the display language of the OS. So one never knows if the saved mood tag is really saved with the needed language. Easy to check if the mood tag is displayed in mp3tag, which displays the original language. Please show original mood language o make the desired mood language a selection

There are two mood analysis tasks: "Estimate mood" and "Import Last.fm tags".

When using "Estimate mood", the mood value is always localized, simply because a mood is internally represented on the valence/arousal scale, not as a word (even, if it was originally derived from words).

When using "Import Last.fm tags", beaTunes basically filters the Last.fm tags, throwing away the ones that don't carry mood-related meaning, and then storing what's left. So in this case the tags are not localized (translated to your UI language). Note, that this may overwrite whatever "Estimate Mood" may have come up with (or vice versa) and that it won't be reflected in the mood shown by beaTunes in the main table.

So in other words:

Estimate Mood: language same as UI

Last.fm: language whatever Last.fm delivers

Both: whatever task was executed last

Beatunes is one of those few apps which it is not possible to prevent timestamp changes on files whenever tags are saved. Please make this possible.

This is on the TODO list for beaTunes 6, but there is no schedule for it yet. This will still take a while.

Cheers,
