I would like BPM to be determined in one pass from 1 to say 500 if there is music with 500 BPM.

WHY WOULD ANY SONG EVER BE AT 500 BPM?

Just picked a number out of the air. All I want is the BPM without having to select a range.

WELL IN MUSIC - A BPM AT SAY 70BPM WILL ALSO BE RUFFLY THE SAME AS A BEAT AT 140 BPM. IT IS JUST IN MUSIC TERMS "CUT TIME" OR "HALF TIME". (70-140) RAYSHOOT WORKS BEST FOR MOST COMMON MUSIC OF TODAY. IF U ARE A TECHNO DJ MAYBE FASTER, BUT U JUST WHAT TO SHOOT FOR THE AVERAGE TEMPO THAT U MOST LIKELY WILL BE DJING IN (IF U ARE A DJING)

You can actually select the automatic beat range (starting with beaTunes 2), but the results usually won't be better than with 70-140.

Thanks. I have a better understanding now. I will look for the automatic setting.
