Play song and matches without creating matchlist

Double clicking a song plays it and the subsequent songs in iTunes.

When showing the matches pane for a song, would it be possible to also display the seed there and be have the ability to play that virtual playlist from there?

So that one does not need to create single-song matchlists.

    Hey Fernando!

I'm not quite sure I fully understand your suggestion.

    • So you have selected a song in the main pane.
    • In the matchtable component, right below, beaTunes now shows matching song.
    • Now you also want the selected song from the main pane in the matchtable?
    • And then you want to play songs from the matchlist in the order they are displayed in in that matchtable?

    Did I get that right?

    Hello

Yes, also show the seed song in the matchtable (maybe index 0 or some other way of highlighting it). Play the songs in order from the double clicked song in the matchtable. A buttton to shuffle the matchtable would be nice (probably keep the seed on top).

Looking at Doug's scripts, it seems that you would have to create a temporary private playlist in iTunes, and then delete it.

It seems like a transformational feature. One would use beatunes a lot as alternative "genius" front-end, without going through the iTunes GUI.

    Regards,

    Fernando
