"Hear" plugin message

When I start beaTunes...I get a message window stating that "Hear" plugin is installed and should be updated to the latest version. I try to locate the plugin..unable to find in Spotlight or finder search.
Where is the Hear plugin located and what program does it belong to? How do I locate and replace it?

    Hi,

    it's typically in /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/HAL/
    To uninstall it, please see the link in http://blog.beatunes.com/2009/03/hear-plugin-crashes-beatunes.html
